Job Description:

  • Assist with Research Activities:
    • Collaborate with senior researchers and cross-functional teams to plan and execute user research activities, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.
    • Assist in recruiting participants for research studies and coordinate scheduling logistics for research sessions.
    • Contribute to the development of research protocols, discussion guides, and survey questionnaires.
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Collect and organize qualitative and quantitative data obtained from user research activities.
    • Assist with data analysis tasks, such as coding qualitative data, summarizing findings, and creating visualizations.
    • Help synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Contribute to the documentation of research processes, methods, and findings.
    • Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and deliverables for stakeholders and project teams.
    • Maintain research repositories and databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Continuously learn and develop skills in UX research methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Seek opportunities for mentorship and guidance from senior researchers to enhance professional growth and development.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in UX research to contribute fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, sociology, anthropology, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification in UX research is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 0-2 years of experience in UX research, human factors, usability testing, or related fields.
    • Internship or academic projects involving UX research or usability testing are desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with UX research methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    • Basic proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
    • Experience with research tools such as user testing platforms, survey tools, and data visualization software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Curiosity, empathy, and a genuine passion for understanding user behaviors and needs.
