Role: Salesforce Engineering Manager / Architect
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work model: Hybrid
Role Responsibilities:
- People Leader to individual scrum team, including B30 colleagues and contractors, dotted line leadership to any B35 colleagues in scrum team(s)
- Promote, empower, and practice servant-leadership
- Drives the team’s technical improvements and roadmap
- Takes accountability for the technical maturity of the team
- Mentor and guide team members to success; identify strengths and areas for growth in direct reports and guides them to grow in their careers while being more productive on the team
- Nurture an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics
- Working with Engineering Director to hire top talent for the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of active engineering
- 5+ years of Hand on experience working on/with Salesforce products
- 4+ years leadership experience in a complex technical environment and/or comparable experience
- Successful design, creation and deployment of one or more enterprise-grade technology assets, including integration of cross-platform solutions in an Agile product environment
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories
- Experience with leading employees ( formally or informally) including providing regular feedback and mentoring
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
- Adaptable to changes in product requirements, organizational structures and business conditions
- Engaged with the open source community, demonstrated public speaking, etc
- Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions.
- Understanding of Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous delivery, and DevOps Systems.
- Learns and applies new technologies and techniques. Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry
- Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives. Influences team members with creative changes and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication
- Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box.
