Job Description

SR2 currently looking for a DevOps Engineer with around 3 – 5 years commercial experience in Cloud & DevOps.

Super excited to share a new role with a company that is completely revolutionising the healthcare system. Fixing major problems across outdated and underfunded systems/projects within health. This is the opportunity to continue to scale a platform that will help change lives and save everybody time.

Location: Central London – 4 day working week (fulltime pay and all Fridays off).

Salary: ÂŁ80,000 – 90,000.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • As the DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with the cloud & engineering team to help deliver key projects on time.
  • Work with AWS services (including ECS, Aurora and S3)
  • Develop and manage IaC (using Terraform) to provision and manage cloud resources, containers and development environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write and improve process documentation and runbooks.
  • Implement and maintain automatic monitoring & alerting.
  • Reduce toil through automation.
  • Set best practices and compliance for cloud environments to drive the technical direction of the business.

Tech stack:

  • AWS, IaC (using Terraform), CloudWatch, Docker, Bash, Python, CI/CD.

Ideal background:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the data science field.
  • Self-starter, who has solid experience in AWS.
  • IaC (using Terraform).
  • Familiar with Bash or Python.
  • Automation experience is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
